School Social Work
The organization has conducted a detailed survey in the District of Wayanad to find out the lack of infrastructure facilities in the field of school education. As per the key indications from the survey, we initiated school social work in various schools. In order to bridge the gap between the mainstream schools and the upcoming schools, our Organisation in association with Pratham Books facilitated classroom library, distribution of books to the school libraries in the select Schools.
CREERD started the eco friendly activities in the select schools like Eco Club, Eco Rallies, Nature Walks, Butterfly Garden, Distribution of Paper Bags and files, and Seed Pens to the students

Indigenous welfare Programmes
We have given prime importance to assist the empowerment of indigenous groups and to trace their knowledge system. With this view in mind, our organization has initiates programmes to help talented students from the community to help them in Higher Education. We extended student support programmes. CREERD distributed electronic gadgets to tribal hamlets to tackle the issue of online learning.
Research, Training and Consultancy
Our Organisation has its focus on quality research and training programmes. CREERD has conducted a number of talk series, workshops, interviews and seminars in relevant areas. The organization has conducted a detailed research in the knowledge systems of Kurichya and Kuruma tribal communities of Wayanad. We offered Internship training to social work students of different colleges such as Ideal College for Advanced studies-Kadakassery, SNDP College-Perinthalmanna, MES College-Vadakara, MD College-Pazhanji, Christ Deemed University-Banglore, Christu Jayanthi College-Banglore, SNMV College-Pollachi, Bharathiyar Universty-TamilNadu, Central University-Pondichery, Amritha Viswa Vidya Peedam-Coimbatore.
Our training programmes include; Participatory Rural Appraisal training, project proposal writing, life skill management and disaster management. We also provide supervision and consultation to fieldwork and Rural Camps.

Green Campus Initiative
CREERD has undertaken a new venture called ‘Green Campus Initiative’. The motto of this programme is rejuvenate and recreate our environment. Green Campus Initiative aims to foster an eco-friendly campus in selected colleges and schools. It tries to disseminate ideals of green protocol among the students and thereby encourage them to preserve our environment with commitment.
Green campus Initiative is a four-year action-oriented programme. The objectives of this programme are to sensitize the targeted group about the current global scenario of climate disaster, the significance of eco-friendly policies and preservation of ecosystems. This entails ensuring that environmental concerns become part of the curriculum and day to day running of the campus atmosphere.

Digital Repository
The organization aims to develop a digital repository to preserve rich cultural heritage of local areas: local festivals, rituals and cultures. We hope it will be useful to preserve the legacy of both the tangible and intangible local cultural heritage. It will also extends an academic hand to create an online access for public about the cultural legacy of local narratives.
